Fascinating Pandan

It's a therapeutic cold spring according to the locals : I can see why - natural, fresh air and water and plenty of Fresh food products mainly sea foods
Bugang River - (Google the cleanest )
http://www.choosephilippines.com/go/trails-and-caves/1648/bugang-river/ please see this blog as well - you can do the river rafting in this River

Antique is now being discovered to be a next tourist destination with its mountains and beaches, unexplored islands an lots of untapped natural resources. Last week we had the chance to visit the Municipality of Pandan, Antique the last town adjoining  to the last town of Aklan which is Caticlan that connects to Boracay Island. We were hosted by our good friend, the mayor of Pandan into his Balinese style house beside the beautiful, Cleanest Bugang River.
I came from Iloilo and met up with Jam in Kalibo who came from a flight in Manila. We were driven from Kalibo to Pandan which is about 45 min to an hour by private vehicle.
This is what greeted us, the pool overlooking the mountain in Mayor Jonathan's place. Although this is in the left side of the house which is not a good placement as per our Fellow guest, Mastr Fengshui Aldrick who's is to do Fengshui in the home, beach house of the good Mayor. But for me the sight, made up for it..
I  could understand why he placed the pool in this area..
Bugang River beside his lovely home!  We are to do BBQ in this place

The obligatory selfie

The visit to the beaches so master Aldrick can do the Fengshui to the beach houses which are planned to be renovated and soon published in AirBnB to boost tourism and encourage more travels in the place

Prepping for after hours
Taking a dip
With this water so clean and calm its picture perfect
Master Aldrick, busy at work and Jam on a pensive mood - good, good, bad bad! "Oro, plata, mata, - applicable to house and stairs Fengshui as well as to other things in General
By the pool: To chill the night: wine and swim time

Of course sea food for dinner
Lots of stories and chizmis and of not to miss out tips on luck and Chinese signs
My pi Yao from the Master
With our host in his living room
Next day, we are to go on adventure at the Malumpati Cold spring
Meanwhile, its so cool to wake up and see this view outside your door
Native Choco from Iloilo courteousy of Ms Jam Baronda
The cogoon roof is a unique identifier of the Mayors place
No chill for the girls
Food is a natural bonding for us
Finally Malumpati!

Outfit check
We have to trek for 30-45 min to reach the lagoon which is more than 70 meters deep. Some foreign divers tried but were unable to reach the bottom because of the current down below

This is what greeted us - Blue lagoon
Swimming is actually not allowed to the public in this area to preserve its pristine condition - but since we are privy and we couldn't resist the water we were excempted 😁
We were ask to wear a vest because we're going "tubing" back to the resort riding a rubber tube on the waves of the river...
Fresh coconut juice after the dip

The cool Mayor Jonathan gamely join us in the tubing (choobing)
Looking like ninja turtles
Splash! We could not go home without trying the jump as well
Then we get to visit beach resorts in the area - Phaidon Beach

Le Palme
There's an antique shop in this resort - with pretty tea cups and other items

After all the tours we got back so tired and yet feeling so fulfilled. We were supposed to take a river raft back in Bugang River but the slow current wouldn't allow

We have to take an afternoon nap and really feel like it's a vaycay
Madam Juliene, a penny for your thoughts...
Even with the slow connection we could not disconnect... Paging Globe Telecom!

Night view from up here

And the morning after babye Na!

I wish we could just ride this speed boat back to Iloilo... It's going to be a 4-5 hours drive back by land

The dried fish should not be missed #brakfastforchamps
The Fengshui lesson and all the other life's lesson we learned from Master Aldrick was truly worth the trip...

The ride back to the City of Love! - our City- Iloilo...

3 people in a photo is not necessarily bad as long as the one in the middle has the imposing power  the tallest, the oldest or the prettiest? Joke... ( Fengshui for ya!)
